Bahgallah State School No.1586
The following information has been taken from the Official School Registers and Attendance Rolls of Bahgallah State School No.1586 as they exist June 1996, and sorted ALPHABETICALLY to assist is tracing individuals. The Register Number listed beside each student entry relates to the actual entry in the original Register (A), and the second Register (B). In a number of instances the teacher of the day re-issued numbers for existing students, and where possible these have been shown. It is suggested that you go to each entry listed to see original entries made by teachers. The document has been prepared as per the information contained in the Registers up to 1953, but where a mistake is known definitely to have occurred (eg. Humhreys for Humphries) the correct spelling has been used, but the original listing is shown to assist you in finding the Register entry.
Unfortunately, the information which should have been in the third and final Register (C) is not available and the information relating to these enrolments has been taken from copies of the only existing Rolls. It is not complete but has been prepared to the best of knowledge at the time.
